Ever a fan of a good crisp white shirt as a base for layering, I’m all about updating to a blue hue for Spring.

Here is a glimpse at one of my inspiration boards and you can see — whether a solid blue solid oxford or an evenly spaced blue stripe you have plenty of choices of how to update your wardrobe with an unexpected and reimagined cotton blouse.

I always try to style an outfit or design a garment that is balanced, not too masculine and not to feminine, but just right. While the color of this ‘Stelen’ bell sleeve shirt is reminiscent of a classic men’s oxford, the swingy trapeze silhouette and bell sleeves contrast the masculine fabric.

While I would love to believe that the warmer weather is here to stay, we just got snow 3 days ago! Since the temperature seems to fluctuate I still never leave the house without a wool coat or trench. I also keep  my accessories and coat in deeper tones of Black and Navy to keep the outfit in true season — it isn’t spring yet!
