Cut.It.Out

Although none of us what Summer to end, the nights have started to feel a little cooler here in NYC. It is time to start thinking about re-introducing some light weight sweaters into your wardrobe.  A delicate, airy sweater is a key transitional piece.

Enter Central Park West, a women’s contemporary brand that focuses on sweaters for all seasons. Although this sweater is not yet available in stores, it is part of their Resort line that will hit stores in late November. The line will be shown to industry professionals starting this weekend at the Intermezzo trade show.

I selected some forward pieces from the line that echo some amazing runway trends and styled them with my team, so, here is my first look out of three for my CPW photoshoot! This leather biker jacket is a perfect take-a-long to transition your look from day to night. Focusing on the keyhole sweater next, the marled yarn adds a delicate and homespun texture to the garment. The keyhole cut-out is a design detail that was all over Fall and Resort collections and made it easy for me to make it the center piece of my look.
